Android Developers has released the SDK for the next version of Android (1.5) also known as *Cupcake*. The new version is stated to include virtual onscreen keyboards, more widgets, video options, speech recognition. There will be more programs that will use the built in accelerometer with many UI improvements and performance updates.
Major Updates will be:
-Copy and paste!
-Stereo Bluetooth
-New Browser features
-Video and voice recording
There's still no word on the exact release date, however the final SDK will be done at the end of the month.
The latest Linux Kernel will be on this update with a new Webkit browser, with a more powerful JavaScript engine. Tabs will be in the new release of the browser.
