Android 1.5 for the T-Mobile G1 next month



The Android 1.5 will be released for the T-Mobile G1 (Google Phone) on May. G1 owners will be able to download the patch and install it from there phone or PC.

T-Mobile Germany will release it first then others will follow.

Android 1.5 offers many updates then the old version. On screen keyboards, stereo bluetooth, video recording, widgets and many more.

Sprint Summer Roadmap Leaked

Sprint Summer phone updates has been leaked out!

Many nice upgrades and new phones to join the big family.

A upgrade for the Touch Pro is heading up sometime in the summer code name "HTC Rhodium", which will be known has the Touch Pro 2.
An upgrade to the Instinct will come out, Name looks like its going to be changed to Samsung Dash. Loaded with a 5-megapixel, accelerometer, and a bigger screen.Many more new phones that have a QWERTY keyboard will come out and some with Windows Mobile.

HTC Touch Diamond Software Update


HTC has released a little update for the Touch Diamond.

ROM Version 2.00.651.7, will include:
-
Provides enhancements to the HTC dialer application
- Resolves an issue where the "Internal Storage" drive may not be recognized by the device

- Includes minor enhancements for Sprint TV and Opera Browser
- Resolves an issue with time not updating correctly after daylight savings time adjustment

- And more minor bug fixes

Goolge will launch Android 1.5 with Improvments



Android Developers has released the SDK for the next version of Android (1.5) also known as *Cupcake*. The new version is stated to include virtual onscreen keyboards, more widgets, video options, speech recognition. There will be more programs that will use the built in accelerometer with many UI improvements and performance updates.

Major Updates will be:
-Copy and paste!
-Stereo Bluetooth
-New Browser features
-Video and voice recording


The existing G1 phone will get the Cupcake release, sometime before the HTC Magic release.

There's still no word on the exact release date, however the final SDK will be done at the end of the month.

The latest Linux Kernel will be on this update with a new Webkit browser, with a more powerful JavaScript engine. Ta
bs will be in the new release of the browser.
